The Binns Hill Irrigation Trail was a easy, flat ride that had some beautiful views of the upper Hood River Valley and Mt. Hood. The Dusty Devas ran into an active clear cutting operation, where they cut the trees right up to the irrigation ditch. It was hard to watch beautiful , large fir trees being cut down and stacked. No selective cutting here. It looks like more trees will be taken out along the trail in the near future. We did find more wildflowers and one moth that was not afraid of us and spread its wings for a closeup photo session. Ride length: 13 miles RT
