Though we slightly missed the primo day of full wildflower bloom on top of Dog Mountain, we still enjoyed the bright colors and gorgeous view of the Columbia River Gorge. It was very windy and cold on top. We did the loop portion, hiking up the west side and then descending from the east back down to the trailhead. Miles: 7.4 miles round trip
