About The Dusty Devas

All of the Dusty Devas have been involved in sports activities all of their lives. Each Deva is a transplant from another city, town, or country. All of them moved to Hood River, Oregon, for the quality of life and the wide variety of sports available for all. Most of the Devas have children, either in the teenage years or grown to adulthood. Hood River is close to the mountains, the water, and for those moments of needing a spurt of city life, Portland is only an hour away.

The Dusty Devas each have a personal goal in their sports fun, either to ride better, ski better, sail better, get some weekly exercise, or to just take up another sport to add to their long list of accomplishments. You only go around once in life, so let's go have fun!

The Dusty Devas either work part time, are retired, or own their own business where they can be flexible in scheduling in time to ride, ski, hike, and plain ol' "get out the door and get some exercise" together!

You may be wondering - are these gals for real? Are they married? Yes, we are for real, and yes we are all married to the most wonderful, understanding husbands, who recognize their wives' need to get out, get some exercise, and experience the beauty and opportunities the mighty Columbia River Gorge region has to offer. But if you think our husbands are slug bubs, think again - they love the outdoors as much we do!
